Aromatherapy Associates Enrich Body Butter

Posted on: August 26, 2011

I never spent a lot on body care product but this Aromatherapy Associates (AA) Enrich Body Butter seriously tempted me. I had raved this body butter in my spa review, admittedly INR3024/150ml (~USD68 at that time) excluding tax for a body cream was immensely expensive, did it worth the price then?

First of all, it smelt heavenly for me! The therapeutic scent did calm my mind, reduce the mental fatigues and improve depression before sleeping. This was pure bliss whenever I wanted to pamper myself into sweet dream. (︠   ︡  ﺭ) z Z z…

However, I was not wearing this body butter every night, it was nothing related to its hefty price tag but the powerful scent was quite overwhelming if using every night. It was only essential when the night I needed some therapeutic properties, alternatively I would go for another drugstore body butter or aromatherapy body massage oil.

Though it called butter, the cream consistency felt rather light and quickly melted into skin, like wearing a soft silky veil. Non-greasy, non-sticky, yet it just blended into the skin very well. It was a nice touch for not-so-dry skin, you certainly need richer cream or additional product for harsh/very dry climate. For optimal result, the use direction was clearly printed on the product packaging, not necessary must be AA product line but you getting the idea what type of product work best together with the body butter.

If you love aromatherapy as much as I did, having healthy skin  and do not mind to splurge on occasion, I love to recommend this lightweight body butter to you.  Else, a budget body butter probably giving the same moisturizing result. Please note this is not soothing and suitable for irritated and sensitive skin. Nonetheless, this is the “best” (subjective term) body cream that I used so far and the fineness of the cream is definitely not a budget body butter can compare to. My honest opinion.

Rating: …)))       Excellent. Willing to buy again.
