I was surprised by the dirt-cheap price of these Lovemore anti-aging masks at Watsons pharmacy in Singapore. Affordable price S$8.90 to 9.90 per 5 sheets, impressive ingredients list, and manufacturing date is within 3 months at the time of purchase… I just couldn’t give myself a reason why I shouldn’t get one. In addition, Watsons was having promotion during the time, hence I actually bought them at slightly cheaper price.
Isn’t the envelope-design packaging very lovely? A Love letter shipping directly from other part of world to make you beautiful and younger! (‘`D)
Both Japan Pearls Firming & Whitening and Australia Agar-agar Lifting masks are retailing for S$8.90/ 5x25ml, where 3D-design Japan Electric Ore Peptide Firming Duo Lifting Mask costs slightly more for S$9.90/ 5x30ml. On each packaging, there is a rating of various effects that you can expect from the mask. I won’t say the self-rating is accurate nor I think my experience with the masks can overwrite the rating because individual skin condition can vary from climate, biological genetics, age group and lifestyle.
About the masks:
☺ Mildly scented
☺ The mask essences have slick and gel consistency
☺ The mask sheet design is a little bit wider than usual size but the wet sheet did adhere to skin nicely
☺ Both masks deliver similarly, imparting more glowing and satisfied moist skin right after application, no obvious “whitening” and “Lifting” effects.
☻ Although the mask residue can dry a sheer film on skin in short while but it still felt rather rich for my combination skin in very humid day
☻ I can imagine it might cause me breakout if using daily
☻ If leaving the mask residue on skin for overnight, you can feel the “gel film” when rinse your skin with water in morning
The 3D mask sheet is stretchable so we just hook the holes on ear at each side.
Rave the 3D mask sheet design of Japan Electric Ore Peptide Firming Duo Lifting Mask! The design really makes difference, it gives more anti-gravity effect compared to the other two, which is why I loved this most amid the three. The stretching mask sheet simply placed the skin in right position by ignoring earth gravity! Regardless the anti-aging result was not instant, the mask design certainly makes you feel the instant “lifting“ and “firming” effects.
Revamped new releases
Overall I am not impressed with Japan Pearls Firming & Whitening and Australia Agar-agar Lifting masks but I do think Japan Electric Ore Peptide Firming Duo Lifting Mask has very good value as anti-aging mask. As such, I rate “Excellent” for Japan Electric Ore Peptide Firming Duo Lifting Mask and “So-so” for the other two, cute packaging doesn’t earn customer loyalty if the product cannot perform greatly. May be that is part of the reason the 2D version had been upgraded recently and re-launched with new packing (as shown in above picture).
