Rojukiss Perfect Pore-less Serum

Posted on: June 9, 2010

For many of us, pore issue is really BIG.

There are three common types of enlarged pore:

  1. In order to avoid pore blocking or blackhead forming, majority oily skin has larger pore size to excrete the sebum.
  2. Temporary enlarged pore due to improper squeezing, or trapped by dead skin cells.
  3. Aging pore due to loss of collagen and weakened elastin in skin dermis.

Regardless what type of pore you have, they normally unforgivable to beauty craze. Needless to repeat, weekly deep cleansing/exfoliation and daily proper cleansing are still the basic in normal skin care routine.

This Rojukiss Perfect Pore-less Serum sample size is part of my GWP. I applied it day and night on my nose and inner cheeks that easily prone to blackhead, after toning. Personal experience here, when the daily cleansing is effective, the improvement is easily noticeable. I saw my blackheads were minimized in a good number within a day with this serum.

Using it at night, I was still having “black-dot” pores in the next morning but they had gone just after normal facial wash. In other word, the sebum didn’t trap inside the pore stubbornly, they can be easily removed with less than a minute facial wash. Using it in morning, my pores looked clearer than none, so my evening cleansing routine became easier. Practically blackheads didn’t vanish completely, but greatly reduced in number that I hardly notice them. However, it failed to work when I applied this over my other serum, so it has to be the first step after a lightweight toning. Also, it only works while it’s on, the blackhead issue returned once I stopped using it.

The serum is in clear liquid-gel, scentless and easily smoothes onto skin. It absorbed into skin better with light massage. Skin looks neither shine nor greasy, just matte and little sticky. Despite it can unclog the pores, enlarged pores actually don’t appear smaller. This isn’t something we can expect the real refined-pore instantly or within a short period, it’s suitable for long-term care instead.

Does above attached before-and-after commercial pictures WöW you? To be honest, if that really the case, who is willing to pay big sum of money for clinical treatment then? From my understanding, pore can be less visible when it’s clean and clear, thus has better light-reflecting ability. I can play some “Magic” then Presto, my aging pores “disappeared naturally” in photo by facing to the right angle against the sun light. Therefore, I believe the above illusion as well as illustration of the before-and-after picture is adopted this concept too.

To explain further, please refer to above lemon-and-orange picture. Both lemon and orange have many visible “pores”, but notably the surface that facing to sun light has notably “smoother” appearance while the shadowed-side revealed all their imperfections. As a whole, I think purification, exfoliation, clarification are essential to help oily-pore appears visibly smaller. On the other hand, effective hydration, anti-oxidization and anti-aging are necessary for aging-pore treatment.

Conclusionally, this  non-comedogenic formulated Perfect Pore-less Serum is more suitable for first type of pore issue, though long-term result probably subtle. A good-formulated product that contains Salicylic Acid helps the blackhead minimizing too but my sensitive skin had been irritated by 2% Salicylic Acid in the past, so I think this is considered gentle because it never irritated in the two weeks. The retail price THB1850/30ml and THB1030/15ml (Promo$ THB1590/30ml and THB890/15ml) are very expensive here compared to almost half of the price in Korea.
