Beautyknot ~ My Skin Care Diary

Estee Lauder Cyber White Ex is exclusively available in Asia. Few products of the line had been revamped, but not including this Cyber White Ex Extra Brightening Moisture Creme. This seems to be quite popular among Asia and received good rave for its vital moisture.

Although I have tried many whitening/brightening products in the past, in fact I am actually not crazy over whitening product because I understand the limitation of whitening product and too many reasons are causing hyperpigmentation. Mostly, I was tempted by raves to splurge on whitening product. Despite the high demand in Asia, perhaps the costly R&D or the complicated formula (since “infinite” reasons had been identified as root cause) is one of the major reason why whitening line marked up with higher price than antioxidant line, sometimes up to an unreasonably point.

Nevertheless, whitening/brightening product is not merely for whitening/brightening. I do loved this Extra Brightening Moisture Creme for the dewy light consistency, drenching the dehydrated skin rapidly and restores skin resiliency. It sinks in quickly, skin is smooth, supple and non-greasy. Cyber White Ex has sweet florally fragrance, pleasant but  just a little bit cloying to me.

As I bought this in 7ml sample size, so it only sustainable for two weeks usage. This alone was sufficient for air-conditioned environment, as well as day use for drier skin condition. Personally I used this mostly for day care, a moisturizer prior milky+drying sunscreen application. If you are acne-prone, this could also be comedogenic. I had 1-2 clog pores if I wore moisturizing sunscreen over it in humid days.

No comment for its brightening ability. I was on very tight schedule during the period, so did not pay detailed attention to the brightening effect. However, I did not notice dull skin either. Perhaps the hydration did bring out the luminous glow.

Overall I am happy with the pleasant moisturizing effect. Realistically I am not the one who will spend THB3200/50ml for a brightening moisturizer too.
