 L'occitane Olive cleansing milk

For cleansing milk, natural based is my only choice. It’s not only can be used for evening makeup removal but also safe for morning cleansing. Most olive oil based skincare broke me out, fortunately that wasn’t applied to cleansing product in most of the case.

According to L’Occitane, Organic Olive Cleansing Milk is enriched with organic olive tree extracts, it cleanses and lifts away impurities while remaining gentle on skin’s hydrolipidic film. Apply morning and evening to face and neck, using circular movements. Remove with a cotton pad.

The consistency is thick but very refreshing on skin (I guess the alcohol effect). I like the olive leaf scent, awaken my skin in morning as well as releases skin fatigue in evening. The milk is melting into skin on massaging, leaving skin matte and non-oily, thus I do love this very much when skin became oilier, especially in the sultry weather.

I use 7-14 squirts for evening cleansing. For the thick consistency, finger massage is applicable. Just massage the milk on dry skin, then wipe off with cotton pad, end with a quick facial wash. I stick to kitchen grape seed oil for morning massage althought this also nice to use in morning, but I found it did not clear blackheads as good as grape seed oil or even  L’Occitane Shea & Organic Cotton Ultra Comforting Cleansing Milk. Anyway, basically I have few makeup remover at the same time to cater different skin conditions.

Unlike L’Occitane Shea & Organic Cotton Ultra Comforting Cleansing Milk, this never stung my eyes on mascara removal, due to the thicker texture, so it is unlikely to get into eyes.

Generally it does cleanse satisfactory (please refer to below cleansing test), although not suitable for supreme waterproof makeup. It contains alcohol too yet comfortable for my sensitive skin. Normal retail price THB980/150ml, my next step is to seach a cheaper option.

Rating: ….)))  Good  Good. Unlikely to buy again.

Gently massage the milk for 15 seconds, wipe off with tissue. Lipstick was about 80% removed, but the shimmer-particles and mascara were still fairly existed. Facial cleanser can remove the shimmer-residue but not mascara.

With cotton pads, it cleanses much better.
