DHC Q10 Lotion and Milk

Posted on: December 20, 2009

Again, I received the lovely samples via DHC Dec magazine mailing. Q10 is a crazy hit years ago, although many potent antioxidants have been developed and utilized in skin care at latter time, but Q10 seemed popular still. Talking about Q10 skin care, I think DHC is one of the popular choices.

Since I’ve gotten a breakout experience with DHC skin care, I now stick to their body care, hair care and supplements only. Thanks to their free sample system, I learnt more about their product and satisfied my curiosity at the same time. Of course, in Thailand I got to keep the membership alive by making any DHC purchase at least every 3 months.

DHC Q10 Lotion (THB1200/150ml)

This is fragrance-free, a water like lotion with faint peachy color. It absorbs into skin quickly, feeling gentle and comfortable like any DHC lotion.

Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycosyl Trehalose, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Hydrogeneted Starch Hydrolysate, Ubiquinone, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Biotin, Cyanocobalamin.

DHC Q10 Milk (THB1300/100ml)

This is fragrance-free too. This is exactly gel like, I’ve no idea why DHC called it milk. It feels slippery and runny on skin (excuse me, it got me thinking of phlegm at the beginning). Leaving skin shinny and slightly tacky to touch until the gel is fully settled. I think only a small amount needed each time for easy absorption if the skin is on oilier side. Overall good moisturizing but blackheads are also come along unwelcomely.

Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Phenoxyethanol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Carbomer, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Tocotrienols, Potassium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ubiquinone, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Biotin, Cyanocobalamin, Sodium Riboflavin Phosphate.

Generally I think the Q10 lotion and milk are gentle and suitable to all skin types, especially young skin which only need basic and simple skin care.

I love DHC! Hopefully they will bring it in to Malaysia soon =D

Eeep, the Q10 Milk causes blackheads to form? Hmmm… this product is a nono!

Sweetie, are Oriental Princess and Beauty Buffet available in Phuket? How’s the price range like?

Hello Blair,

I have no luck with moisturizing gel moisturizer, they simply contribute blackhead to my combination skin. But some people just don’t have the same problem with me.

I am sorry dear, I don’t know if they have branches in Phuket, but both of them are mainly target local market, so their branches usually can be found at shopping malls/spots, and popular local hypermarkets such as Big-C and Tesco Lotus. Their price range are relatively affordable, from THB200-THB1000 mostly, and they list out complete English ingredient list on packaging as well. (“v)

If you interested, use google translate for more details:

Ahhh I’m gonna raid all the Tesco Lotus and Big Cs i can find in Bkk! 😀

I was just gonna ask about Oriental Princess stuffs and here it is, all covered :))

Thank you girlies!

You are welcome, Nellz.

If you’re in BKK, both beauty shops are accessible at most low-medium graded shopping malls, not those high-end one like Siam Paragon, central chidlom…etc. You may check the store location from their website too. (“v)

Hi healthandbeauty,
Thanks for your comment. That’s great the milk is working fine for you, I just don’t have much luck with DHC facial care. “v

hello, I love reading your blog..I am wondering where can I buy dhc products? I am from the Philippines and I am planning to go to Bangkok this April..Thanks 🙂

Hello jules,
Thanks for your comment and that’s always delightful to hear an encouraging word from my reader. “V

DHC Olive beauty spa is located at North lobby (can’t remember either 2nd or 3rd floor), Siam Paragon. You can test their products at the spa to see if you like them or not, the SA always friendly to let me feel free to test. By the way, Siam Paragon is easily access by Skytrain (Siam station) if you want to avoid traffic jam in the area.

Hope you enjoy the trip, perhaps the Songkran festival. “v
