Muji Cleansing oil

Majority of cleansing oil in the market is mineral oil based, no doubt mineral oil is doing quite well to remove makeup thoroughly, but if there is plant oil based at lower price point, I guess most of us would be happy to try.

Muji Cleansing oil1

Muji Cleansing Oil is fragrance free, colorant free, mineral oil free and paraben free as indicated on the product, this looked less irritant to sensitive skin. Hmn… the actual content seemed a little bit over 200ml, grin.

The oil is feeling light yet has some thickness just as light version of kitchen extra virgin olive oil. Very runny on hand but would feel slightly thickness upon massaging. I’m fine with it since the oil is still easy spreadable, 2-3 squirts is enough for face and neck. This is almost scentless that the olive oil scent actually very unnoticeable. It also emulsifying well and leaving skin supple and smooth. No dryness, no tightness. Unfortunately, after follow by second cleansing, the skin becomes slightly drying.

Judging the cleansing power, it removed light makeup effectively and decently for waterproof mascara (please refers to below cleansing test). For superb waterproof mascara, frankly it need little extra effort and time to remove the mascara thoroughly than Boots oil cleanser. Concern of non-mineral oil formulated, I love this more than DHC deep cleansing oil, but talking of efficiency, at this moment none beat down Fancl’s in my book.

On the other hand, I don’t think this contributes blackhead, perhaps helping to clear some of them with appropriate massage. Overall I am happy with this gentle Muji Cleansing Oil. The normal retail price is THB 595 for 200ml, I bought this 15% off during promotion.

Rating: ….)))   Good  Good. May buy again.

Muji cleansing oil test-1

with shimmering lipstick and waterproof mascara

Muji cleansing oil test-2

massage the oil onto makeup for 10 seconds, the lipstick was dissolved easily, but not the mascara

Muji cleansing oil test-3

Emulsified and rinsed off with water, tissue patted dry. There was still tiny shimmer-particles leftover which can be removed completely by facial cleanser, but not the mascara.
