Clinique Lash Power

Clinique Lash Power made for Asian-eyes brush seeks out every last lash. Those already have dense, long eyelashes might not fond of this. I was having the 1.5ml sample as part of the Clinique’s GWP.

Direction to remove: Innovative thermal technology that helps it stay put for 24 hours is easy to remove. Use fingertips to splash warm water (bath temperature is ideal) on lashes several times and press gently. Or, wet a cotton pad with warm water, press to eye, then wipe away.

Frankly speaking, Lash Power Mascara impressed me lots! Firstly, the mascara brush combs and coats my every single lash effortless. I have not come across any mascara brush that do that (okay, I didn’t try enough). The tiny head of the brush really makes whole application quick and easy.

Second, it delivers the similar finish as my favorite Palgantong D Cup Mascara. Well lengthening, slightly eye opening curl at the beginning, no clumpy, look natural but minimal volume and doesn’t hold the curl after a while. The question is, who want a droopy gorgeous lashes? Anyhow, Lash Power seperates each lash beautifully, and dry out in 1-2 minutes. Hardly smudges, as Clinique said, a unique waterproof technology resists sweat, humidity, even tears. However, second coat after the mascara dries out will causes clumpy or flakes. Sometimes the mascara also flakes under eye but can remove the flakes easily.

Third, the mascara could be removing by warm water with zero smudge! Clinique claims it removes easily with warm water (I guess 30-32oC), as long as not cold water. I found it is very interesting that the mascara stain smudges when I tested on hand, but the mascara never smudge when I remove them from eyelashes. I normally use cleansing oil to remove sunblock and face makeup first, then use fingers to remove the mascara after the cleansing (since the lashes had been properly soaked by water, so it was extremely easy to remove by using fingers), double cleanse with facial cleanser finally. The best thing is I don’t have to pull or wipe my eye anymore that contribute fine lines forming. Additionally, the mascara flakes is very much alike the rubber eraser’s stain debris.

Fourth, the Lash Power reasonably costs 850 baht for 6ml in Thailand, not that expensive compare to Dior, Chanel, Lancome… etc. I can get it at cheaper price during promotion or oversea. It has two shades, black onyx and dark chocolate to choose from.

Last but not least, this is the mascara is very close to what I have been looking for, only wish it could has more volume, creates and hold uplift curl.
