That was annoying whenever I see those extremely stubborn blackheads on my oily T-zone, as well as post-acne marks. Finding a suitable exfoliators really depends on luck, so I wanted to give DHC Retino A pack a try since it contains both Vitamin A and Vitamin C derivatives and moisturizing substances to minimize the dryness.
To open the tube initially, turn the cap upside down and use the point to puncture the vacuum seal. To use, after cleansing and toning, cover face thinly with the mask, avoiding contact with eyes and mouth. After 5 minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water. Personally I preferred leave on for 10-15 minutes for better purifying result, and it didn’t cause me any problem.
The color of the cream looks a little bit grayish, fragrance free but it has kind of ointment smell to me. The consistency of the mask is very thick like a heavy cream, let the sheen coat stays on skin for 5 minutes, the cream will dry out after a while, wipe off with damp cotton pads, rinse off with water then. Pores will temporary refined, no irritation but slightly dryness and more apparent broken capillaries after the mask. Inconsistent blackheads scavenger, especially useless for the stubborn one. Nevertheless, it helps my post acne scar fade off faster. I was feeling great with clearer face.
DHC suggests use the pack once or twice a week. So I used approximately 2 times a week, and it lasts me 4 months use. DHC Retino A pack is 1008 baht for 30g. The vacuum sealed packaging definitely helps to minimize the risk of oxidization of active ingredients.
