The Face Shop Nutritious Effect Eye Cream

Posted on: December 11, 2008

TFS-eye cream

I was curious how The Face Shop compared to Skin Food as both of them are from Korea which have similar market positioning, as well as Missha, Etude, Dodo club…etc.

I picked up the best-selling Nutritious Effect eye cream to try because I think Korea mid-priced brands make good value eye cream after I had tried the Skin Food’s eye cream. This is weighted 30ml, retails for RM89.90, pretty budget-friendly I should say. The anti-aging eye cream includes plenty anti-aging ingredients so I really expect something from it.

After 6 months usage, day and night, sadly to say, I didn’t notice any improvement of my fine lines despite its moisturizing capability. The effect of moisturizing effect vanished after few hours like other eye cream I used in the past. However, fine line does look less obvious when moisture properly.

The eye cream neither irritated my eye nor caused milia seed, overall I am satisfied with this eye cream but nothing amazing. Personally I prefer Skin Food Black Raspberry eye cream which has better value, at least it de-puff my eyes bag slightly and more moisturing in term of texture.

Rating:  …))) satisfied  Satisfied.  Unlikely to buy again.

yeah right..i bought one too and i dont see any difference..i tried olay regenerist and it’s better

Thanks for dropping by, alex,
Ya…I read a lot of rave about the Olay’s and great to know it works for you. I had tried old version of Olay regenerist eye serum before but it wasn’t moisturize enough for my dry skin of eye area. The best “eye” product that works for me is actually a Hyaluronic Acid hydrating essence. (“v)
