I was introduced of Origins by my colleague, of course she is a fan of Origins. The name, the layout and the ingredient list simply look very natural to me.

“Your skin is calling for help” , the sales manager told me when I asked her to introduce a full set of skincare product to me. She is right, I need a good hydrator to combat my severe dehydrated skin.

I was convinced by the product philosophy and the friendly sales manager was really kind to give me a luxury sample size of Clear Improvement charcoal mask 50ml and some Perfect World samples.

Below are short reviews of my purchases.

* Checks And Balance Frothy Face Wash

This is ideal for oily to combination skin type and quite drying to me. Very well foaming, well-cleansed and very refreshing. Could last me for 4 months, use twice a day.

* Clear Improvement Active charcoal mask

This black charcoal clay mask is an excellent oil sucker. The instruction advises me put it on for 10mins, but I only can put on for 5 minutes then wash off, otherwise my skin will crack badly. Radiant face after wash but no much help on removing blackheads. Ideal for oily skin in hot weather. Use inconsistently, the sample last me about 1 year.

aqueous(water, aqua purificata, purified)infusions, melilot(melilotus officinalis), equisetum arvense, kaolin, bentonite, butylene glycol, montmorillonite, polysorbate 20, peg-100 stearate, activated charcoal, natural xanthan gum, lecithin, peg-150 distearate, propylene glycol stearate, sorbitan laurate, glycerin, propylene glycol laurate, simethicone, trisodium edta, dehydroacetic acid, phenoxyethanol, methyl, ethyl, propyl and butylparaben, iron oxides(ci 77499)

Generally, I think Origins facial care that I tried would be more suitable for those young aged. My severe dehydrated skin did not improved much after all.
