Lancôme Renergie Morpholift R.A.R.E Repositioning Cream

Posted on: January 9, 2010

According to Lancôme, Renergie Morpholift with R.A.R.E technology, re-bundling and repositioning collagen for lifted and firmed skin. For woman in her 30s – 40s, 25,000 micro-lifts immediately tighten the skin, face visibly recovers its natural contours and looks years younger.

I was quite confusing about different Renergie Morpholift cream versions/names in different regions. In Thailand, R.A.R.E Repositioning Cream (THB3900/50ml) is the earlier version and the latest product had been added into the line is Overnight Repositioning and Firming Cream (THB4200/50ml) that spoken by lovely Kate Winslet.

In addition, I was really curious how the 25,000 micro-lifts work and I’ve wanted to give this a try long time ago. Meanwhile I was also worried it could be too rich for my combination skin and merely a marketing gimmick. After all, I got a chance to purchase a sample size (15ml) finally, so a win-win solution here?

The texture is creamy and emollient, only a small amount required for face and neck as the cream can be easily spread across over skin. It settled a moisturizing film quickly and leaving skin smooth to touch. Skin appeared subtle glowing but not greasy. This is best for normal to dry skin. Besides, the floral fragrance is also not over-powering, just a little bit soapy scent to me, but I love scent of Lancôme skin care overall, so it never a problem.

Somehow, applying a thick layer of this didn’t save the tingle sensation in sensitive skin moment. For me, this is an elegant moisturizer which does a decent job. It has classy packaging and beautiful cream texture, keeping my skin soft and smooth, no breakout and also no lifting miracle has been noticed when I finished the sample in 3 weeks.

Theoretically, great principle. Practically, most probably disappointed. Strictly speaking I’m not in the best position to criticize the efficacy because I never used the whole series for months. Concerning my sensitive skin nature, I’m not going to.
