This is step 1 of Clinique 3-steps skincare. It also has extra mild (for very dry skin), mild (for normal to dry skin) and oily skin formula. As per the name, this is feeling mild on skin. It works into generous lathers easily, comforting skin without leaving dryness. However, I felt a little tightness over the outer cheek if using warm water for cleansing. For me, this is particular pleasant to use in sultry humid weather.

Somehow, going through the ingredient lists of three formulas, none of them answered my need. The extra mild formula is a non-foaming cleanser which reminds me of cleansing milk, yet I prefer foaming cleanser. While the other two contain harsh cleansing agent (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) that I don’t like it for my facial cleanser now. So, Clinique cleanser unlikely to be the one in my shopping cart.

Talking about the simple cleansing test of Clinique liquid facial soap mild, it showed moderate cleansing ability and seemed gentle enough for normal cleansing. The retail price is 950 baht for 200ml here, affordably priced. This probably the Clinique best cleanser to me, unfortunately it contains SLS, else I would love to get one.
